Delete Your Account — ductparts.au
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account with ductparts.au — the duct-part register website and mobile app operated by Redworx AU Pty Ltd — and what happens to your data when you do.
1. In the ductparts.au app
Open the app, go to Profile → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out.
2. Without the app
Email help@ductparts.au from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will close your account and confirm by email within 30 days. You do not need to install the app.
3. What is deleted, and what is kept
- When your account is closed, it can no longer be used to sign in, and projects where you are the only member are deleted. Projects you share with others stay with their other members. For 30 days we can restore the account if you change your mind.
- On request, everything else. Ask us at help@ductparts.au — in the same email, or at any time after closing — and we will permanently erase your personal information (name, email address, company name, profile picture) and your project data within 30 days.
- Kept: invoice and payment records, which Australian tax law requires us to retain for five years. Encrypted backups are overwritten on our providers' normal backup cycle.
4. Your subscription
- Bought on the ductparts.au website: closing your account cancels it, so it does not renew. If that cannot be completed at the time, the app tells you, and we cancel it when you email help@ductparts.au.
- Bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play: it is billed by Apple or Google, and deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it yourself, or it will keep renewing:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ductparts.
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ductparts.
See our Privacy Policy (section 5) for more on how long we keep data.
