1. About ductparts.au
ductparts.au (the "Service", "we", "us", "our") is owned and operated by Redworx AU Pty Ltd (ACN [insert ACN]), a company registered in Victoria, Australia ("Redworx AU", "Company").
ductparts.au is a web-based visual tool that allows users to configure rectangular, spiral, oval, and damper duct parts for fabrication and site ordering. The Service also allows import, configuration, editing, and export of MAJ files from a Redworx AU–configured CADmep+ fabrication library.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts and Subscription Plans
2.1. Certain features — including configuring duct parts, importing/exporting MAJ files, and editing library-mapped parts — are only available under a paid subscription plan.
2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
2.3. Plan features, limits, and pricing are as described on ductparts.au at the time of subscription and may be updated by Redworx AU from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
2.4. Redworx AU may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the Service.
3. MAJ File Library and Import
3.1. The default fabrication library available through the Service is a CADmep+ MAJ library configured and maintained by Redworx AU Pty Ltd, and is used with the permission of Redworx AU (contactable at luke@redworx.au for licensing enquiries).
3.2. Users may also configure or import their own MAJ library files. Redworx AU makes no representation that user-supplied or third-party MAJ files will map, import, edit, or export correctly within the Service. Field mapping errors, missing parameters, incorrect material or insulation assignment, and other discrepancies can occur with libraries not configured by Redworx AU.
3.3. If you experience errors importing or mapping your own MAJ library, contact help@ductparts.au for assistance. If you require a fabrication library built and configured for use in Autodesk Revit / CADmep, contact luke@redworx.au.
4. No Guarantee of Accuracy — Mandatory Verification
4.1. ductparts.au is a visual configuration, inspection, and editing tool only. It is not a design tool, engineering tool, or substitute for professional verification.
4.2. Redworx AU gives no guarantee, warranty, or representation — express or implied — as to the accuracy of any duct part generated, imported, edited, or exported through the Service, including but not limited to:
- Dimensions and sizing
- Material specification and gauge
- Weight
- Insulation type or thickness
- Fabrication tolerances
- Compatibility with any specific project, standard, or system
4.3. All parts, whether configured within the Service or imported via MAJ file, must be independently verified before use for fabrication, procurement, or site installation. Verification must be carried out by a qualified Project Director, Project Manager, or other suitably qualified and responsible person, and confirmed against a properly issued shop drawing.
4.4. Redworx AU accepts no responsibility for any part fabricated, ordered, purchased, or installed on the basis of output from ductparts.au that has not been independently verified in accordance with clause 4.3.
4.5. Nothing generated by the Service constitutes engineering advice, a certified drawing, or a substitute for review by a qualified mechanical engineer, draftsperson, or other relevant professional.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redworx AU excludes all warranties, conditions, and representations, whether express or implied, in relation to the Service, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of output.
5.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redworx AU's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise — is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
5.3. Redworx AU is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profit, loss of contract, rework costs, delay costs, or costs arising from fabrication or installation of incorrectly sized, specified, or configured duct parts.
5.4. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where such a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, Redworx AU's liability is limited, where permitted, to the resupply of the Service or the cost of resupply.
6. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redworx AU, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claim, loss, damage, cost, or liability arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on output from the Service without the verification required under clause 4.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. The Service, including its software, design, and the Redworx AU–configured MAJ library, is owned by Redworx AU Pty Ltd and protected by intellectual property law.
7.2. You retain ownership of the duct configurations and project data you create using the Service. You grant Redworx AU a licence to store and process that data as necessary to provide the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service to reverse-engineer, extract, or redistribute the Redworx AU–configured MAJ library or its underlying data for use outside the Service without written permission from Redworx AU.
9. Termination
Redworx AU may suspend or terminate access to the Service at its discretion, including for breach of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with the cancellation terms on ductparts.au.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
11. MAJ File Integration Disclaimer
This site has been configured using the RedworxAU fabrication library for MAJ file integration with ductparts.au. Fabrication parameters, gauge tables, and connector specifications reflected here are based on this configuration and may not match your own CADmep+ setup.
Redworx AU cannot guarantee parity between MAJ files generated through this site and your local CADmep+ configuration. Differences in material specifications, connector types, insulation settings, or custom fabrication standards may result in discrepancies.
Users should verify all MAJ file outputs against their own CADmep+ configuration before use in fabrication or production workflows.
