  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process subscriptions and billing
  • Provide support (including MAJ library mapping assistance)
  • Improve the Service and the Redworx AU–configured fabrication library

  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations

4. Data Retention

4.1. Redworx AU retains account information and project data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements.

4.2. Data retained by Redworx AU is used only for the purposes described in this Policy and is not used to build or improve products or services for any other client or competing organisation.

5. Disclosure of Information

5.1. Redworx AU does not sell, share, or disclose your project data or user information to competing companies, third-party fabricators, or any external organisation for their own commercial benefit.

5.2. We do not disclose your project configurations, MAJ file content, or account information to any other customer of ductparts.au or Redworx AU.

5.3. We may disclose limited information to:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. hosting, payment processing), bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Regulatory or law enforcement bodies where required by Australian law
  • A successor entity in the event of a business sale or restructure of Redworx AU Pty Ltd, subject to that entity being bound by equivalent privacy obligations

5.4. We do not transfer personal information overseas except where a subprocessor (such as a hosting provider) operates infrastructure outside Australia; in that case we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the data in a manner consistent with the APPs.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data held in the Service from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and Redworx AU cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

If you believe we have breached the APPs, you may lodge a complaint with us directly, or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if unresolved.

8. MAJ Library Data

Where you import your own MAJ library files, that data is treated as your project data under this Policy and is subject to the same retention and non-disclosure protections. Redworx AU does not use your imported library data to modify, supplement, or improve the Redworx AU–configured library available to other users.
